Living the Mission

Baseball is a game of threes.  

Three strikes and you're out.
Three outs to retire the side.
Three up, three down.

Babe Ruth wore the number three. 

It all seems so perfect; so well thought out.

So intentional.

And when thinking through the development of our newly released logo, we wanted to incorporate some intentionality into the brand.

Sometimes I feel like life is like reacting to an unexpected 3-2 curve ball.  If I'm honest with myself, most days seem to run together....from work, to kids, to running errands, to the daily grind of running around from one busy thing to the next.  If I'm lucky, maybe Bed Bath N Beyond and Home Depot on the weekend.  Maybe.  And before you know it, you look in the mirror and ask yourself: "Where did all the time go?"

Can you relate?

I look back at the way my dad poured his love for baseball through years of playing catch with me when I was a boy and the word that comes to mind is intentionality.  He sacrificed his time, energy, and his own agenda to invest in my future.  And along the way, we built amazing memories through baseball.  What would America look like if we all had this mindset?

When you wear #The3Seams and support our brand, you're reminding the world that baseball is an intentional game, but more importantly, that every day of this crazy life of ours contains intentional moments to do just that -- to live intentionally, to invest in someone's future; and to play with purpose.

The last thing I wanted to point out is that The 3 Seams point up.  That's also intentional.  Because for us at Baseball Seams Co., what we do is just a reflection of who God is.  Our mission is to honor God and reflect His Love by creating meaningful products that connect people and transform relationships through the platform of baseball.
